We head off to soccer practices each Monday and Wednesday. I'll be glad when this is over. I signed both Arianna and Luci up together and both played well the first practice, but Luci hasn't played since and Arianna is still tempermental. Sometimes she loves it and sometimes she doesn't want to go. Elise, on the other hand, loves it making it very hard to keep her off the field with her own soccer ball. Last time we took the Gillrath train, Elise got a small soft soccer ball. She sleeps with it sometimes now. It's her favorite toy. Arianna had a soccer game today. Luci suited up and cheered for her team. Arianna played part of the game, but not much. I think she's coming around though. This last practice was phenomenal. She was great. I think with time, she'll enjoy it a lot more. I am really enjoying the team itself. Arianna is fortunate to be with some great kids and a great coach. The team is split pretty evenly between Americans and French Canadians and so far, all the parents are really nice.
Thursday was Canadian night at our International Women's dinner. We had BBQ hamburgers, chicken skewers and LOTS of potatoe and macaroni salad. The music was quiet enough to converse and the only entertainment was a brief, yet humorous skit about how much Canadians like to BBQ and will BBQ in the snow, ice, sun, power outages, etc... It was a nice night to be out and just visit with friends. The USA representative for the IWC is moving, so I am the new rep for next year. I love it and am excited to have the opportunities to meet more ladies from all over. It will be fun!

Quotes to consider...
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein
What the heart has once owned and had, it shall never lose."
-- Henry Ward Beecher
It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. -- Anthony Robbins
We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing. -- George Bernard Shaw
An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered. -- GK Chesterton
The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
For most of history, Anonymous was a woman. -- Virginia Woolf
A friend is someone who will help you move. A real friend is someone who will help you move a body. -- anon
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory. -- Paul Fix
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone … The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. ~Audry Hepburn
I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. -- Thomas Jefferson

I can't believe how grown up Aria is. It's funny, because Caden reminds me SSOOOOOOOO much of Aria....the "young" Aria, the pre-Luci Aria :o)His voice (little and squeeky), words, mannerisms....everything!
