Twice in a lifetime...

Some would argue that once is enough... but I am married to a guy that really enjoys Al Stewart. And why shouldn't he... the lyrics are right up Kirk's alley... historical, intelligent, witty...

And I will begrudgingly admit that I have on rare occasion been known to hum a tune or two. They get stuck in your head. I think I just like that Katherine one because she's from Oregon... anything with Oregon in the title can't be bad. :)

So... Friday night we headed to Heerlen to see Al Stewart and his trusty sidekick Dave Nachmanoff in concert. Sat front row center level with the stage, so that I could casually stretch out and rest my feet on the stage' edge. The guitar duets intrigued me most... always fun to watch the rival guitars.

Had dinner close to the theatre - salad with lamb and coconut sauce. Amazing. Great meal.
