Life: Idiotropic

Or so it seems in Spain. Hoofed legs are hanging from walls with ribbons and bows. Carts roll by with 5 legs each. And the once illustrious "ham holders" have appeared in fancy displays, then disappeared - completely sold out before Christmas arrives.

It's delicious. But a pig leg can cost between 50 and 200 Euros depending on the quality you desire. And unfortunately, there is a drastic flavor difference.

Today I went to the mall hoping to grab a few stocking stuffers and become inspired by something. I thought I'd find something special, interesting, artisional. I found fingerless gloves for me so that I can snap photos without freezing my fingers. And I stopped for a quick snack across from the second busiest store in the mall, the ham store. The busiest was the coffee shop next door.

Beautiful displays, lovely things, but nothing jumped at me and it seemed, I wasn't alone. These days coffee and ham are delicious and much more practical. The economy in Spain is hurting too.
