I would love to be reminiscing about the leaky rain in Spain, but today I am worn out from yesterday's holiday and cannot think of anything other than the dishes in my sink, the turkey bits on the floor and how, oh how will I ever get this house looking like Thanksgiving never even happened, so that I can fast forward into Christmas. Now after visitors and trips, it's hard to wrap my mind around the hauling of 4 large Christmas bins down from the attic and putting decorations (that I will ultimately have to put away again) here and there all over my home. My Spanish friends dream about the ultimate self-cleaning house. Days like this, I share that dream more than ever.
