This morning we woke up with a completely unexpected surprise that neither local German or Canadian news had predicted - that wonderful white fluffy stuff the girls hoped for in Paris but never saw - SNOW!

I was tired and tried desperately to sleep in while the girls came in every couple minutes looking for pants, a glove, or a hat. Kirk got up early with them and took them out to play in the little dusting of snow that we had and they built two snowmen before coming in.

Arianna and Luci's was the biggest with rock eyes, a hat and scarf, twig arms, a carved smile, and candies for buttons. Elise and Daddy built a little snowman, but he was too fragile to decorate.
