Today was a holiday in Germany, so we all had the day off. Kirk was home. He got back from Poland on Saturday. Tiara safely arrived back from Amsterdam last Thursday. It was nice to have an extra weekend day with everybody. The weather was beautiful again too, so we went to Wildpark Gangelt too see and feed the animals there. The girls love feeding the various deer and boars, sheep and goats. The pine martins, albino ferrets, and groundhogs were a big hit too. Tiara's friend, Mimi, let the girls know which deer had clean tongues since she was usually the first to feed them and got pretty muddy and slimy from some of those deer. Luci found two green caterpillars that she very sadly and reluctantly released after walking with them for some time. Elise played at the playground, then fell twice walking back in her near stupor exhaustion. And spunky Arianna would have stayed in the park all night, upset that I would tear her away. Tiara was home tired. Kirk was home cleaning and planning our October trip to Prague and Krakow.

The sun still has us intoxicated with a bright warm blanket of happy bliss, almost too content to properly complete a to do list. I think I shall like to be one of the wildpark's otters now and just play and nap all summer.
