It seems that while there are wines that I don't enjoy as much as others, here in Spain, there is not a single bad Spanish wine (that I've found so far). This is, in part, due to the inspired beverage called Sangria which can turn any average wine (or even downright bad one) miraculously into something you want to sip, gulp, or chug, over ice on a hot summer day until the pitcher, tub, or bucket is empty.

The time came to clean the guest house and after a full month, we found just a few bottles of red sitting around. I didn't have time to steam off labels or even to copy them down, so this is my way of note taking. The photo of 6 bottle are the ones that aren't bad, but not great. I won't necessarily buy them again. But, they ended up making great sangria. The photo of three were all great. The one in the middle we tried first. Of the two on the sides, the first was better, but I don't remember which one we opened first that night. Was a nice night with friends we'd just met, a good meal with BBQ, kisir, and dolmas. Good wine flowing.
