Life: Idiotropic

After living here a year, I finally took a few pictures of our seasonal friends whose season on my porch is nearing an end.  Abundant from June though September, I see their green scaly counterparts through October, but these guys start to go away. 

This guy and his friends sit on our patio ceiling every night.  Sometimes I see as many as five, but usually only 2-3.  Although adorable and quite skitterish, this is the reason that my 15 year old daughter will not walk outside at night.  Her irrational brain thinks that one will "jump" down onto her.  I think she's watched Parent Trap one too many times.
