Today was Tiara's 12th birthday. We'd had plans to go to Phantasialand, but it rained, so we let her sleep in until noon after her late night at the movies and just had a relaxing day. Kirk cooked chicken bulgoki for her birthday dinner - one of Tiara's absolutely favorite foods and something that Kirk learned to cook quite well in Korea. We went to horseback riding lessons in the evening, an activity that Tiara didn't want to miss, then came home for plum streusel tarts and a delicious cream cake from our local bakery. The day was anticlimactic, but still nice. Kirk was off of work and Tiara got to spend the day the way she wanted it.

Can you post the recipe for the chicken bulgoki please? If Tiara likes it, I think my daughter would too.

Yeah - I'll get that recipe from Kirk in the next couple days and post it. He changes it a little every time he makes it, but it's always good and, it's one of those recipes that he cooks entirely so I love to sit back and have someone else cook the meal!

Sorry, Kiddo... if you don't like the picture, stop hiding from the camera! Then I'll have nicer photos to choose from! :)
