Happy Birthday, Arianna!

Today was Arianna's 7th birthday.

I had a going away function for a friend in Sittard this morning, but Arianna came with me and played with the other kids while the adults sat around with our coffee and bagels.

When that was over we went to the market - the first time she and I had ever gone to the market alone and she loved it! We bought cherries and roses, shopped for party gifts for her friends and looked at ribbons and buttons. She kept telling me how much she loved to shop with me - without her sisters along. I think all the girls think that.

Home for relaxation, a movie...

Then her choice for dinner: Steak and mashed potatoes with gravy. Salad (not her choice). And molten chocolate cakes for dessert. Not bad.

Tomorrow she's having her first ever slumber party here at the house - a movie star party with three of her friends. We'll have the red carpet, the walk of fame, and the girls will each have an autograph book and disposable camera to shoot photos with. Should be fun and really silly.
