Yesterday's fun:
Water is magic. I filled a teensie weensie baby pool with water and my three not-so-little girls all crammed themselves in and started a big water fight. Simple and fun. Then they hung upside down to dry in the sun. When we moved here two + years ago my girls were a lot smaller. Amazing how the time has flown.
Today's fun:
Met a friend for a snack at Haus Hammacher - a fairly good restaurant in Gangelt surrounded by fun things to do. The girls had chocolate ice cream in cute clown cups with cones on top like hats. Then we all piled into a little rowboat. I boated as a kid. I used to go to the lake with my dad all the time and paddle around by myself in a little inflatable kayak. Well, I sat down and grabbed the oars and was the most embarrassing uncoordinated site I think I've ever seen. The boat spun in circles and I couldn't get anywhere. Sat facing the wrong direction too. Kristi laughed at me. I think I was 13 shades of pink. So, she took over and got us to the end of the lake and back allowing all three girls to take turns rowing. Sadly, each of my little girls showed more inclination towards boating than I. Post boating we went mini-golfing there at the lamest mini-golf course ever. No grass. Ugly cement slabs for each hole. Very little creativity. No water. No moving objects. Very sad. But, I only paid 5 Euros for all 5 of us and there was no one else there, so we could skip around and redo holes. Sadly, the little ones had never mini-golfed before, so all three kept trying to pick up the ball and move it. They all hit it a gazillion times. It was humorous. But... that outing wore us out. Just across the parking lot is the most amazing pool area ever. So, that is Friday's plan. Should be fun!

Quotes to consider...
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein
What the heart has once owned and had, it shall never lose."
-- Henry Ward Beecher
It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. -- Anthony Robbins
We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing. -- George Bernard Shaw
An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered. -- GK Chesterton
The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
For most of history, Anonymous was a woman. -- Virginia Woolf
A friend is someone who will help you move. A real friend is someone who will help you move a body. -- anon
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory. -- Paul Fix
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone … The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. ~Audry Hepburn
I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. -- Thomas Jefferson
