Three times now I've tried to sit here and type, but what is normally quite simple, simply isn't now. Could be the distracting buzz of the cicadas. Could be my muddled brain. These last few days have been exhausting emotionally and though I have a million little details, lists, frustrations, quirks about this school and my girls in it, there is no way to make any of that even remotely readable at the moment.

So, suffice it to say that this morning went ok. It was the first that no one cried at the bus stop. The first that I didn't cry. All 4 of my girls are in school all day, but I can't quite enjoy that yet.

Here's a Tiara quote from yesterday:
"I had to explain unsuitable today. I don't like being an EFL in an ESL world."

I get that. It's actually where I think I've lived most of my life. And I'm not saying this to be ironic or clever. It's actually true. It's harder short term... but better in the long run. Sometimes it just plain old sucks and then you get your props and, yeah, it's better than the other.
