The magic of Easter is that the bunny seems to find us where ever we go.  One year it was a French farmhouse in Normandy, today it’s a modern Portuguese home on a kiwi farm.  I had strict instructions to let the girls in on the side entrance, but from the moment we entered the gate, it was all giggles and screams, pointing, and “I seen a blue one!”  “Look, over there, there are tons of eggs!”

Baskets and smiles and they were off.  Dog inside watching the chaos.  Three little girls running through the grass, peaking in trees and around bushes.  The bunny gets trickier as the girls get older, so this fun was a bit more drawn out than usual as the girls searched for every last egg.  Then they checked out their loot while dinner was ready.  Kristi and Tiara had it under control.  Ham, mashed potatoes, fruit salad, vegetables, green salad.  We served the carrot cake I made last night.  Not bad for a holiday away from home.   Family, friends, sugar-laced littles... not bad at all.
