We left on Friday, spent one night in Salamanca and saw two of the Easter processions there, arrived in Felgueiras, Portugal on Saturday and have fallen in love, once again, with yet another region of Europe - another, "let's retire here, it's beautiful."

Awoke on Easter morning to the sound of fireworks and roosters.  Cooked our Easter ham to the same sounds.

We toured Dom Jesus in Braga, the kids had their hunt.

This is quaint and modern.  Beautiful... absolutely beautiful.  We love it here.

So, there will be much to say and many, many photos to look through and to share.  We return on Saturday.  Look for posts and photos next week.

Funny... Easter is over, but the fireworks are still going.  We're heading to the beach to see the west coast Atlantic.
