I took Tiara to the doctor today, but we entered at the end of the building and were met there and led into the first room by the door so Tiara wouldn't contaminate anyone. One look at her and, "yep, those are chicken pox." One of her friends said she only got 7 spots. Seven! What a lucky kid. Today I counted 42 just on her face and neck. There's at least that many more on her back and torso... poor thing.

But, she's my fashion diva and wearing them well. Tiara, the queen, is donning beautiful pale cream skin dotted in a lovely shade of calamine pink. Each center of the large pale pink polka dots has a pretty red spot in the middle just like a posy. For her hair, she's chosen to highlight it in large oatmeal chunks like dandruff gone wild. It's quite a fashion statement. Walking around in baggy shirts to prevent itching, she is something right out of the latest hobo fashion mag. I'll have to send her photo into the editor.

She's really a trooper and hasn't scratched. Benadryl is helping more than calamine or oatmeal baths.

The good news is that the doctor thinks that we'll still be able to leave for Paris late next week.
