Rest. Quiet.

As if by magic, almost all the German flags and lined the streets flying out of every window of both house and car have disappeared. They are gone without a trace. As if there were none there yesterday when the air was filled with Euro Cup preparations. Just yesterday it was all over the radio, internet, and television. German companies would close early. Production lines would actually stop for the game costing the companies money - but this was the Euro Cup and it was worth it. All the Germans would be watching. And if they'd won, we would have heard the honking all night. The flags would still fly.

But Spain won. And today was silent. No talk. No flags. Just silence. As if it had never happened. As if there wasn't a Euro cup just a few hours before.

ganz ruhig
