Life: Idiotropic

Today is the first day of the World Cup soccer match and though normally, I wouldn't care, living in Europe creates a manic soccer ferver that is sort of addicting.  That, and we have friends in town who are eager to see the match.

 

A would-be simple soccer watching evening turned into musical houses because us girls who are normally quite organized, relied on texting.  Huh.  Note to self:  don't text and think.  Doesn't work.  That is one generation gap that I can't quite traverse.

 

So we went over to Michelle's house to watch the second match, missed it, ate appetizers and drank cava there, moved the entire production back to my house, kids and all, for dinner (Laura made spinach and salmon lasagna), then we returned to Michelle's for tiramisu and the Uruguay/France game which ended 0/0.

The kids haven't quite caught on to the football fever yet, hence the ear-splitting version of Abba's Waterloo pictured above.  I could post a video... you can thank me now that I didn't.
