Reading, cleaning, cooking a little, shopping at the Mercadona, a store that I'm tiring of quickly...

I'm surprised and irritated by the high number of chocolaty, unhealthy foods. Half the cereals are chocolate. Most of the bread items are filled with chocolate cream. The fish selection is amazing. Of course, local Spanish ham is amazing. French and Spanish cheeses are available. Produce is fine. But I can't find the spices I want/need. Where are the crackers? I only see toasted bread and cookies. Many vegetables seem elusive as well. I need to broaden my shopping horizon and see some other grocers because this one is only ok for this hotel living thing where I don't cook anything fancy. When I do want to have more fun with cooking, the shopping part might become a mouse maze with shifting cheese.

They have Old El Paso tortillas on the bottom shelf at the end of an aisle and Oscar Meyer bacon in a tiny package. Philadelphia Cream Cheese is very popular in Europe, known at least, so I can always get that. Did find our favorite shampoo brand. Cornflakes. No cheerios. I'll have to get those shipped. And Bisquick. I need that too and can't find it here. At the end of it all though, it's the spices that will kill this... I NEED spices. Gotta go search the other stores. Or start a spice farm in my back yard.

Relaxing by the pool, jumping in, filling some time with random photos of the place.

Luci and Arianna are becoming more fish like by the day, finally tossing their snorkels to the side and plunging under water with only the masks. They're doing great.
