Cold weather and a sick kid.  No amount of sun, nor the allure of a free concert in the magical setting of the CAC could pull me away from home.  At least not physically.  So, tonight, instead of bonding with Tiara in a mass of youthful humanity swaying to the rhythm of the Arctic Monkeys, I sat in the warmth of my office, read the Facebook feed of concert related comments, and "attended" the concert LIVE on my Mac.  Volume a little higher than usual, it was real enough.  Me being me, I sat and took pictures - just like I would at the "real" concert, except tonight, with my iPhone aimed at my computer screen.  Yes, I'm a dork.  The encore was amazing - the whole thing was amazing.  Next year, Tiara and I won't miss it.

The bonding?  Not tonight.  She watched Becoming Jane downstairs on her laptop.  Odd roll reversal, huh?
