'Cause I see something strange almost every day...
Yesterday I was driving down the back road towards Brunssum to drop Tiara off at the bus. (She left for a one-week beach trip in Italy) I was in a rush and driving quickly weaving in and out of these annoying artificial s curves in the road that narrows an already narrow road into a definite one-laner when I saw a middle aged women walking on the sidewalk just ahead. She was probably in her 50's, had on leprechaun green sweat pants on and a top that was quite tan. Or at least that's what I thought at first. I got closer. Her top was wrinkled. Closer. She wasn't wearing a top. Nothing from the waist up. And stupid me had to make the mistake of turning around. Ugh. Yep... definitely topless strolling along a well travelled road towards the Netherlands. I'm glad they have nudity laws in the states.
Today I was cleaning my kitchen and heard what sounded like yodeling coming from those tinny old-fashioned speakers... so I looked out my window. There was an tiny old tractor painted in bright red and green pulling a bubbly 60's style small camper in the same colors. There were 4 German flags attached to the tractor waving in the air as the tractor moved slowly down the street with a parade of traffic stuck behind it. I didn't see the radio, but there were definitely speakers in there somewhere because that old oompa music was loud. That was a camera moment. Couldn't get to it in time. But funny sight.

Quotes to consider...
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
-Albert Einstein
What the heart has once owned and had, it shall never lose."
-- Henry Ward Beecher
It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped. -- Anthony Robbins
We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing. -- George Bernard Shaw
An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered. -- GK Chesterton
The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
For most of history, Anonymous was a woman. -- Virginia Woolf
A friend is someone who will help you move. A real friend is someone who will help you move a body. -- anon
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory. -- Paul Fix
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge you’ll never walk alone … The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. ~Audry Hepburn
I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. -- Thomas Jefferson

OMG! OMG! OMG!!! A half-naked old lady totally trumps naked mannequins!!! Any day!!! Did you laugh so hard that yesterday's coffee came out your nose? Thanks -- needed the laugh. I am so bored. So friggin' bored I could just sigh heavily and DIE of boredom. As Sutton says, "B-O-R-D, Bord!!" Why aren't there more naked people in Texas? There really should be.
